A coming-of-age "dog love" movie based on the "Dog Club," a club that existed in a veterinary school!

In Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, there was one eccentric person. Hanai Sota (Hayashi Kento), 22, is a university student in the veterinary department. He has been a dog lover since childhood, and his apartment, where he lives alone, is filled with shelter animals. Even though people around him treated him like a freak, he continued his sheltering activities with a single-minded desire to save the lives of the animals in front of him. One day, Sota rescued an experimental dog that had closed its heart to him, and in order to save as many lives as possible, he came up with the idea of making animal protection activities a club and founded the "Dog Club. Sota and his classmate Ryosuke Shibasaki (Nakagawa Taishi), who also loves dogs, become friends and run through their animal-covered youth, spreading their wings toward their respective dreams. Sota goes to an animal hospital to save as many lives as possible, and Shibasaki goes to an animal welfare center to reduce the number of animals that are disposed of unhappily.

Sixteen years after "Dog Club. After a news report that Sota, who had continued his dedicated activities as a veterinarian, had been arrested, the members who had been dealing with animals for 16 years, as a medical practitioner, a researcher, and the director of an animal welfare center, reunite, but Shibasaki is not among them.... ....


 Outline of the work

The movie "Inu-bu!" is based on the book "Kitasato University School of Veterinary Medicine, Inu-bu! (Poplar Publishing Co., Ltd.), a film based on the book "Kitasato University School of Veterinary Medicine: Inu Club! The film is based on a book written by Yuka Katano, titled "Kitasato University School of Veterinary Medicine: Inu Club! The film is based on the model of a student at the veterinary school that founded the club, and is composed of two eras: the past, when the main character struggled to protect animals with his friends, and the present, when he has become a veterinarian and faces new problems on his own. The film depicts the struggles of the former "Inu Club" members to move forward with their beliefs unbending.

The role of Sota Hanai, the passionate protagonist who loves animals to the point of obsession and will not give up in any situation to save as many lives as possible, is played by popular actor Kento Hayashi, who has appeared in many high-profile films, including the NHK TV series "Scarlet" (19) and "Watashi wo Kuitomete" (20). His partner, Ryosuke Shibasaki, a kind-hearted classmate, is played by Daishi Nakagawa, who is rapidly gaining popularity through his appearances in NHK's "Natsuzora" (19), "Nijiiro Days" (18), and "Shattered" (21). In addition, Sakurako Ohara, who has been active as an actress in such films as "Ano Hi no Organ" (19) and NHK's TV series "Natsuzora" (19), plays the role of a "cat lover" - Yoshimi Sabikawa, who adores Sota's spirit. Tomohiko Akita, who helped the professor take care of the animals for the training, will play the role of Tomohiko Akita, who has been in the limelight more and more for his presence in high-profile films such as NTV's "It's Your Turn" (19), "Runway" (20), and the NTV-Hulu co-production "Kimi to Sekai wo Owari ni Hi ni" (On the Day the World Ends with You). Koudai Asaka will play the role of Asaka. Leading these up-and-coming young actors is Tetsuo Shinohara, a talented director who has delicately and solidly portrayed the subtleties of the human heart in films such as "Hana Sassa" (2005) and "Shadow Treading" (2007). In addition, Akane Yamada, a master of animal documentaries, wrote the screenplay, carefully weaving the real issues and challenges surrounding protected animals into the story.
